Architects Malboeuf Bowie chose to increase the open feeling of the space and update some midcentury features. A wall was removed and windows were added in the kitchen for more natural daylight to the large space. Appliances were updated and new cabinets were added for a chef ready kitchen. The floor was refinished and the wood ceiling was added to match the style of the original house.
