MacPherson Park Recreation Reserve is a vitally important recreational facility in the City of Melton that holds a significant place in hearts of the local community and serves at least 16 different sporting clubs and associations, including Football, Netball and Cricket. Brand Architects was involved in the project from its inception, assisting with the Masterplan and Funding application, through to delivery of the first stage in May 2020.
The project comprises Council’s first two-storey sports and community pavilion, a new synthetic multi-purpose oval, new netball court and warm-up area, as well as extensive landscaping. The significant improvements to the reserve will allow far more casual and sporting use and enjoyment by the community.
