This project is a new 8,600 s.f. medical office building in the downtown CRA district. The building’s side street orientation provides physical and visual access to pedestrian activity on both the major and minor pedestrian corridors. The design is a harmonious melding of four primary elements: a glass cube, a concrete volume, an elevated plaza, and a linear park. Sustainable features include PV cells on the roof and integrated within the south curtain wall glazing of the 3rd level private library, cross access parking, rain collection from the roof valleys, and an above ground cistern. To contrast the urban wall, typical of the east façade is animated by the linear park, double story fountain and public art wall of undulating reclaimed glass of the Old Town Commercial area.
