Atelier Pagnamenta Torriani has completed renovations of school libraries for the New York City School Construction Authority throughout several boroughs of the city.With the aim of spending energy where is matters, the studio has put a good deal of time into public schools in order to provide quality for those who can benefit the most.The library serves both High School and Middle School students. The Principals requested a Reading area that can morph into a classroom with an interacting Smart Board. The reading area/classroom size requirements governed the spacial layout. The media area is defined as a bright ribbon.The classroom is organized with ergonomic seating and modular light tables, which can be adjusted to fit multiple configurations for parents' or teachers' meetings.
