CUBE 3 Studio was the core and shell architect for the M Lab™ Collaboration Center, ensuring the new office space will accommodate approximately 400 existing employees from other nearby locations (Bedford, Billerica, and Danvers) making it the new North American HQ for the company. The approximate 70,000 GSF addition to Phase I brought the new total Summit Office to 350,000 SF of Class A Corporate Office Space. The addition builds on the established structural bay spacing of Phase 1 at the upper floors (3-5), while incorporating a 2-story jog-out at the south-east corner to meet Tenant program requirements at the lower floors. The same façade elements are used to extend and complement the sleek contemporary image of Phase I. The Summit Office Park will now serve as the premier global destination for customers, housing a state of the art exploratory environment where scientists and engineers will closely work together with their customers to help solve the most difficult life science questions.
