Lugo Caffe finds a second home in Atlantic City at Revel. Like its older brother in New York City, the new location captures the convivial charm of Italian café culture. Lugo Caffe is a place for socializing and sharing authentic food and drink, including its own line of Prosecco, Chianti, and Pinot Grigio.
Booths, banquettes and café tables cater to a range of guests whether a party of two or a large party celebrating a special occasion. Vintage black and white images of vacationers on Italian beaches, soccer leagues, and cafés in Rome hang in the dining room, enforcing the social and nostalgic mood that pulsates through the inviting space.
White oak millwork throughout the space is accented with satin nickel metalwork. A stunning zinc counter weaves through the space, serving as a liquor bar on one end and pizza station - complete with Berkel slicer - on the other.
Other design elements include tiled walls, mirrors and fluted glass screens. A nook behind the service counter is lined with large cans of tomatoes and other Italian staples, mimicking the pantry of hospitable Italian grandmothers passed on from generation to generation.
