Our clients came to ecco hoping for a little more room for life, an inspired place to create art, and a lot more program than would fit within the shell of their existing second story that offered just enough space for only two tiny bedrooms and no bathroom – all with very little headroom. Although the house had some character and detail, our owners were looking for a more cohesive Tudor style that would bring both stronger street presence and a better connection to their front yard.
This project was a challenge because we were given a very tight timeframe and an even tighter budget. Given their response, we are confident that we produced a design that thrilled our clients. The project came with its own challenges, as many do, but in the end ecco delivered a design that satisfied.
