Starting point of our design team is not only creating an easthetic and functional space, but also creating a colorful and a surprising office space with dynamic solutions; respecting Lowe’ s ability of creativity.
Lowe office design concept has a humanist approach. The project is mainly focused to be connected to life, people-oriented, multi-functional, and to be dynamic.
Lowe team members are planned to sit closely with each other in order to create an effective ‘working platform’. Lowe employees are given many alternative spaces to work throughout the office. The main purpose was to consider the fact of ‘awareness of performance increasement with the given value to employees’. Flexible private,open, individual and group work spaces with different types of seating are designed for a better quality of work performance with high motivation.
Lowe office design concept includes transparency feature in order to avoid from any physical barrier and hierarchy between employees. Whole floor plan is percieved and designed as one complete project/idea room.
Walls were designed for a multi-purpose use, such as; fabric-covered "pin-up" areas,writable foils for presentations, etc.
Even function of the e departments are different from each other; customer relations and design team are sharing the same floor at Lowe's office. However, while reception and waiting area welcomes people, the main corridor,that takes you a walk to a colorful world, and functions as a distinctive and effective seperating element between those two departments. Both departments work spaces’ are designed differently from each other.
Materials in the project are used in a way of contrast between old references and today’s. For example, while carved wood table is taking attention of people on one side, its possible to see a high-tech glass covered with metallic foil on the other side. The main purpose was to use old and new in a well-thought-out and well-blended way.
Emphasizing the idea of spontaneousness and simplicity, materials are used in their own refined form thoughout the project.
An extraordinary felt carpet flooring provides a monolithic look and becomes great background element for the desired concept. More importantly, it also functions as an acoustical element.
Perforated gypsum board ceiling provides sound absorption as well as creating a dynamic ceiling surface throughout the project.
Lighting fixtures and other design products are standing one step behind the overall design perception of the whole space.
