Longyou Group Installations "Secrets" combines allegory with technology across three interactive devices — "Whispers," "Lethe," and "Linger" — set in the Longyou Shipyard Island's jungle, exploring themes of fate and connection through a modern fable. "Whispers" engages visitors with a black flower that opens to reveal messages in Morse code. "Lethe," positioned on an old irrigation canal, involves a water-filling task that leads to the final piece, "Linger," where pouring water into a shuttle triggers a reflection on geographic and temporal distances, symbolizing emotional and physical closeness or separation. This narrative journey, aided by a mobile app, offers a layered exploration of relationships and memories within a creatively reimagined space.
