This project was a complete remodel of front and backyard. Per client’s request, more privacy was provided by a resysta fence structure and gates along with a Podocarpus hedge. A curve concrete driveway with leaf relieves inset into concrete and wavy grass infill is the other design element for the front yard.
The backyard is designed in a way to satisfy the vibrant and colorful taste of the client; an orange-colored concrete wall with Mondrian pattern created by aluminum reveals and vertical succulent planting, looks like a huge art work behind the concrete bench with lime green cushions and fire pit. Resysta’s color of the deck, fence, and lattice in harmony with the Mondrian patterned wall.
In contrast with the geometric forms of backyard hardscaping, the front façade of the BBQ has been covered with variety of succulents in a wavy pattern.
