For homeowners Larry & Jennifer, owning a timber frame home on one of New York’s Finger Lakes was a long-term goal for most of their married life together. After years of searching, they finally found the right property, purchased it, removed the existing small cottage, and called in New Energy Works to design and build their new custom home.
Featuring flooring & paneling from our sister company Pioneer Millworks as well as extensive custom woodwork from our fine woodworking division, the home blends Larry’s desire for a rustic look with Jennifer’s modern flair. Thoughtfully crafted to fit the wedge-shaped property while maximizing lake views, the design takes advantage of daylight while also creating privacy.
