Long Table floats serenely over the Bangkok cityscape, serving inspiring Thai food in a thoroughly modern Thai space. The central space is dominated by the eponymous long table that’s over 20m long while the multi level terrace overlooks the skyline.
Long Table has several distinctly Thai features that have been reinterpreted. At the entrance, fields of young rice plants are re-imagined with an infinity feature of LED lights. Thai salas, or outside pavilions, are presented as low tables with lounging cushions, above which huge lanterns are suspended to recreate intimacy and and give definition. The long, low table recreates the shared dining experience that is so integral to Thai food.
The bar extends all the way through the restaurant and onto the terrace which has an uninterrupted view of the city.
