KIND DESIGN STUDIOS has designed a sensational shopping experience, dedicated to the meal and the good taste on top of Illum Department store Copenhagen. Løgismose's core values of joy and love for French wines, and delicious ingredients has been interpreted in an elegant hybrid between a gourmet grocery store, wine shop and seductive French bistro.
The interior design is both spectacular and different, but it does not overdo the food and wine. The store in Illum Department store Copenhagen is not pumpy in itself - on the contrary it has a relatively low ceiling and has clear concrete supports and visible installations. A raw and industrial expression which we have worked with and not against. The red-brown linoleum floor is a fantastic authentic natural material that creates a calmness around the entire shop experience in the shop - both visually and soundly. Green was the basis color of Løgismose, when they started the company, so the color scale points back to the company's DNA - and then we have varied the green shades throughout the room. Each of them distinctive, but together they create a nice balance that highlights the room's industrial look in an elegant way and creates tranquility around the many items in the store.
