Jensen Retail Group has designed a sensational shopping experience, dedicated to the meal and the good taste on top of Illum. Here has Løgismose's core values of joy and love for French wines, and delicious ingredients been interpreted in an elegant hybrid between a gourmet grocery store, wine shop and seductive French bistro.
Imagine a fusion of an unpretentious French bistro and the food's well-organized colonial room. Or that the wine enthusiast's warehouse has been moved into an elegant Parisian library. It can be hard to find the right words to describe Løgismose's new food universe on top of Illum – a combination of gourmet grocery store, wine shop and eatery. A place where both the experienced wine enthusiast
and the happy amateur can find exactly what they are looking for. Where the gourmet lover and the hungry shopper can be tempted. Where one can sit down and enjoy a quick but delicious bite at the eatery or fill ones bags with a good meal to eat at home.
The decor is both spectacular and different, but it does not overdo the food and wine. The store in Illum is not pumpy in itself - on the contrary it has a relatively low ceiling and has clear concrete supports and visible installations. A raw and industrial expression which we have worked with and not against. The red-brown linoleum floor is a fantastic authentic natural material that creates a calmness around the entire shop experience in the shop - both visually and soundly.
At the same time, the floor emphasizes the transition to the universe of Løgismose from Illum's other eateries on the floor, and contrasts with the other color scale of cooler green shades. Green was the basis color of Løgismose, when they started the company, so the color scale points back to the company's DNA - and then we have varied the green shades throughout the room. Each of them is distinctive, but together they create a nice balance that highlights the room's industrial look in an elegant way and creates tranquility around the many items in the store.
Løgismose's universe originates from af lifelong love for the French cuisine, where the taste is in focus. Therefore, the recipe for the design of the shop and eatery in Illum has largely been peeling into the core values of the Løgismose company, which began as a wine store more than 50 years ago.
