T3 ARCHITECTS just designed this Industrial LOFT located in City Garden Towers in Saigon (Vietnam) developed by Refico developer. The existing 3 bedrooms apartments were very conservative and poor in terms of interior design: volumes, circulation, color palette… The Client wanted to get a tailor-made Loft, industrial but cozy, with a design mixing European and Asian culture. T3 revised first the layout to create a large Living room connected with a room which can be used as a home office as well as to welcome guests. Gypsum partition has been replaced by a tailor-made sliding partition in black metal and glass. The green stucco wall brings the colored touch in reference to some color of traditional rural houses.
T3 also decided to demolish the existing partitions of the 2 other bedrooms to create a real Master Bedroom with a proper walking closet and a comfortable bathroom. False ceiling has been removed to make the concrete appears and reinforce the “loft” aspect but also to get a more generous volume.
The round shape of the building is balanced by the “square” shape of the layout by T3 designers. There is a real connection between interior, architecture and the urban landscape which is the main “decorative element” highlighted by T3 Team to give value to the apartment.
Kitchen has been repainted all black and counter has been replaced as well. Moreover, T3 tried to keep as much as possible what can be kept, as we consider Architect has a key role to be “sustainable” as much as they can, even for Interior Design project. T3 also proposed “natural materials” as much as possible to avoid “chemical” and improve air quality.
Most of the furniture (especially in metal) have been tailor-made or sourced by T3 as well as rugs and Art pieces from Laurent WEYL (photographer)."
The result is a “chic loft” facing the vibrant city of Saigon with a strong identity compare to the original product. The client looks very satisfied! Enjoy…
