Loft entre Árboles
"Loft among the Trees" corresponds to the design of a small country house of 110 m².
More than a refuge, the project proposes a sensory journey: a poetic transit between urban modernity and the essential calm of the countryside.
The concept was born from the search to reconcile two apparently opposing worlds – technology and nature – through an architectural language that privileges the emotional connection with the environment. The design establishes a dialogue between interior and exterior, where transparencies, light and surrounding vegetation merge in the same story.
Materiality becomes the common thread of the proposal: oxidized corten steel, with its reddish patina and changing texture, provides character and memory, evoking the passage of time and the nobility of materials that age with dignity; while porcelain tiles that refer to natural wood introduce warmth and balance, reinterpreting the organic from a contemporary and functional look. The lighting – careful, strategic and emotional – acts as a narrative element, accompanying the passage of the day and transforming the space into a stage of contemplation.
In this loft, Samsung's technology does not break in but is organically integrated into everyday life. Smart devices are hidden in the architecture and emerge only when they are required, achieving a smooth, silent and efficient experience.
"Loft among Trees" is, in essence, an invitation to stop time. A space that celebrates the subtlety of the simple, where the digital and the natural coexist in harmony, drawing a magical bridge between the past and the present, between what we were and what we aspire to be in the contemporary era.
