Residential project completed on July 2012 in North LondonThis residential project in North London involved loft conversion and extension followed by internal alterations. At Ground Floor client wanted to have kitchen at the rear with sliding/folding doors. Intension was to have views to garden with direct access to the patio through the kitchen and Dinning Area. To achieve this toilet and utility area were re-arranged and side extension was added to the existing dinning room. Extension was proposed with roof lights to bring in extra light to the cooking area. Since Kitchen was to be located at the rear, existing kitchen was refurbished to create nice big TV Room which involved re-location of the boiler. Front Bed Room was transformed into the Living Room.At the First Floor new en-suite was created for one of the bed rooms which involved introduction of new window and re-location of hot water tank. Wardrobe was created for another bed room.Loft was converted into habitable space. To achieve this existing staircase was extended into the loft space and rear dormer extension was added. Resultant loft space housed a Bed Room with En-Suite, Study Area, Wardrobe and Storage. To bring in maximum natural light loft area was designed with rear windows, accessible balcony and 4 roof lights in total. All the before & after pictures of this project available on Facebook.
