Respecting the architecture and design concept o the building in the neighborhood “La Condesa”, we started to design the interior of this loft with a cleanliness and spaciousness criteria, using pure materials like base and highlight details in primary colors in the fenestration, the glass wall in the kitchen, some photographs and paintings, that serve as accents in each space.
All the furniture has been designed for the loft with natural ebony wood, stainless steel accents and a marble with veins, creating a shade of red in the background that we used in the kitchen.
The rooms are laid out in the upper floor, was used walnut wood on the floor and furniture were designed with ebony, to sense uniformity in the course of the apartment.
We especially try, some details, such as the wooden ceiling that marks the space to rest and where all space connections happens; terrace with finished of ipe wooden deck, which generates a recreational area disconnected from daily life and connected in turn to the nature and spaciousness; respecting the materials used in the construction of the building, leaving apparent the concrete bearing walls and steel beams.
At the end we used items so daily, like an open bookcase, a “molcajete” (traditional Mexican handicraft to prepare sauces, a kind of mortar) in the kitchen, cuttings boards, wine cellar and liquors, blue light accenting the bar as a point of meeting and welcomed.
