V3 designed a loft that seamlessly integrates a warm and inviting modern vocabulary with vibrant colors and textures that are inspired by the loft’s romantic beach setting. This loft involved a complete remodeling in which the design executed created wide open areas that create a fluidity from room to room, complementing the lifestyle of the modern family that commissioned the project.

The openness and transparency of the design helps to capture the beautiful blue hues of the Atlantic ocean by eliminating the original plan’s compartmentalized spaces.The sharp edges and folding forms implemented throughout the walls and ceiling planes are emphasized by the dynamic lighting used. A state-of-the-art audio visual system provides a fully automated home. The simplicity of the design pays homage to the modern architecture of the loft’s setting in the vibrant city of Miami Beach, Florida. Elegant furnishings and accessories create a balance of modern and warm sensations, and a mix of driftwood, glass, metals, exotic stones, and wall coverings reflect the wide array of influences the client desired, while adding a unified and restrained, yet dynamic character to the project.
