Is the
debut project of the office in 2011. The project involves the redevelopment of
a Barbershop for men on the outside, interior design and advertising image. The
client Jaime Ceniceros pleased the office with absolute freedom in the design
on one condition: we had to create a “cube of light” as part of the facade.
The concept
stems from LOBOsolo to adapt this "cube of light" with minimalist axes
and solid volumes. We decided to create 2 visual icons in the same facade. One
for daylight and one for night. For daylight we designed a solid chocolate
colored triangle as the new entrance to the hall. While at night the "cube
of light" would accomplish this task by inertia.
For the
interior design, we decided to put a flashy skin around the wall and took the tone
of the waves as color for the walls. Details and furniture were thought with
the chocolate color of the exterior.
The name of
the barbershop was created by the client, so the office designed the logo and
image advertising from it.
As the
first project of the office we were looking to create an impact with our style
and design. We managed to satisfy the customer and ourselves with a different
concept, innovative and most of all edgy.
