LM Residence is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of Pha That Luang.
The project was conceived from the owner’s lifestyle — a desire for a modern home that remains deeply connected to nature while preserving privacy. The architectural concept responds to this vision through a U-shaped layout, embracing a central courtyard that becomes the core of the house.
The courtyard acts as a transitional space, connecting each room while allowing natural ventilation and daylight to penetrate throughout the interior. Large openings enable cross-ventilation, creating a comfortable microclimate within the home. With the main façade oriented to the south, the design strategically opens toward the southwest to capture prevailing breezes. Extended rooflines and wooden-patterned ceilings provide shading and protection from sun and rain, reinforcing climatic responsiveness.
This spatial arrangement results in a light, airy atmosphere, ensuring continuous airflow. Internally, the living and dining areas are directly connected to the courtyard and designed with a double-volume high ceiling that visually links to the second floor. This vertical openness enhances spatial continuity and encourages interaction among family members across different levels of the house.
Private functions such as the home office and gym are positioned along the side of the building to maintain separation and privacy.
Overall, LM Residence reflects a careful integration between architectural form and environmental context. The project balances openness with security, transparency with privacy — creating a refined living environment that enhances the everyday quality of life for its residents.
