Living Surfaces
Living Surfaces is a protoype for a wall that mirrors your movements. It senses the distance of your body with sensors and moves in response to the distance. The mock up uses 4 hobby servos, 4 proximity sensors, an arduino, and the work required for a circuit.
The skin of the wall is made of latex and paper. The hobby servos are connected to a metal wire that pushes on the surface. Rotational movement is converted into linear movement.
