The Regional Center for the Performing Arts, proposed in historic
downtown Livermore, will house a multi-purpose theater totaling 2,000 seats.
The facility is intended as a regional venue for performances by leading
national and international companies. World-class acoustics and a full range of
theater equipment and amenities will enable live and amplified music
performances, drama and dance shows. The site placement is ideal, located in
the prominent center of town, and provides a focal point and destination for
people in the Tri-Valley area and beyond. It will stand as a symbol of
Livermore’s support and commitment to the arts. The project is developed in close
cooperation with the local public, the City of Livermore, as well as the
national, regional and local performance arts community.
