Introducing Lion Pride School, a state-of-the-art private educational institution for 1600 students in Roodepoort. Offering a comprehensive education experience from Grade R to High School, this school is an integral part of the larger urban design framework within the thriving Cosmo City community developed by Central Development Properties.
Focusing on functionality and durability, the school’s design incorporates low-maintenance materials such as Facebrick, steel roofing, and off-shutter concrete, reinterpreted in a contemporary and dynamic fashion. Steel mesh in vibrant hues encloses the hallways, adding a touch of individuality to each classroom block.
Color also plays a prominent role in the design, as seen in the window reveals which offer both solar control and a seamless junction between the steel cladding and windows. This creates a visually striking façade for each classroom block, making Lion Pride School a standout addition to the Cosmo City community.
