LinkedIn had three main drivers for its new Chicago office: To connect its professionals, improve productivity, and increase customer satisfaction. According to LinkedIn Chicago employee surveys, their ideal workspace engages both personnel and visitors, increases morale, instills pride in the workplace, and reinforces the LinkedIn brand. IA Interior Architects’ team of designers and strategists worked with LinkedIn to develop a workplace that reflects these goals-- a space that is professional but not stuffy; links the past to the present; and bridges generations of professionals through a personally engaging environment. Their workspace is designed to maximize flexibility for its users, with a priority on providing a variety of seating options from focused to collaborative to relaxed.
