Built during the 1960’s as New York City underwent a renaissance of redevelopment, Lincoln Towers is rich in both size and history. Sitting in the area formally known as the San Juan district- an area comprised mostly of low-income tenement housing, Lincoln Towers is a vast 20 acre campus consisting of six buildings with eight separate addresses. The six towers were built as part of New York City’s Lincoln Square Urban Renewal project, which also included the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Although it’s 3,837 apartments were originally built as rental units, they have since been converted into co-ops and has undergone immense renovations of its buildings, parks and playgrounds.New York Engineers conducted a complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing survey for one of the buildings within the luxury community.
