LIKELIHOOD, a luxury sneaker experience, has opened its second location in downtown Seattle near the Amazon Spheres. This new and expanded 3,000-square-foot retail space showcases the creativity and ingenuity of featured brands while providing a gathering place for the LIKELIHOOD community. Inspired by an art gallery, the store features bright white walls and displays, mirrored fitting rooms, and a ceiling of “cloud lights.” Its minimal palette and abstracted materials create a neutral backdrop that allows the colorful brands to take center stage.
The store’s signature feature is a tiered stadium display—a massive 36-foot-long central staircase dotted with shoes and conceived as a single seamless monolithic form. Above it, internally illuminated ceiling panels bathe the products in a brilliant glow. The gallery-like interior is further enhanced by reflections from the mirror-clad fitting rooms, illuminated floating shelves displaying sought-after fragrances, and a serpentine stainless-steel garment rack that winds throughout the store, presenting a continuous display of apparel. Works by local artists add warmth and character to the space, including a custom white oak bench for trying on shoes, Douglas fir vitrines that bring accessories and jewelry into focus, and vibrant paintings by Brian Sanchez that complement the merchandise.
