Ligne Roset, the French furniture brand, strengthens its presence in New York City with a renewed flagship showroom at 250 Park Avenue South. Designed in collaboration with Marie Dorner Design, PLANS Architects served as Architect of Record, overseeing the transformation of a 20,000-square-foot space into a refined environment that merges contemporary sensibility with the building’s historic character.
The renovation was approached with restraint and precision, striking a balance between softness and structure, heritage and innovation. Limewashed walls, layered lighting, and warm natural materials create a luminous atmosphere that highlights Ligne Roset’s furniture as both sculpture and lifestyle. Subtle transitions in tone and texture guide visitors through interconnected display zones, encouraging discovery while maintaining visual calm.
The spatial organization celebrates openness and flow, with key sightlines framing curated furniture compositions. The result is a serene, modern interior that embodies Ligne Roset’s design ethos: timeless craftsmanship, elegant simplicity, and a quiet confidence that reflects the brand’s enduring identity in New York City.
