As an icon of cultural life and arts in the Russian capital located in the old Pushkin Square, the majestic structure of cinema pushinsky has entered in decline gradually losing identity, his representative historical image as a focal point and confluence of daily life in Moscow was been replaced by a eclectic facade that camouflages the original design and deprive it of its simple beauty.
Our project is the right response to this theater´s context, suggesting a strong connection with urban plazas and parks that enhance the meeting point mass public , unifying space and allowing focus on what is there, the cinema is the core of the place, its new commanding presence as a beacon of light and as a retrieved icon is the center of attention, a representative image that we get through the implementation of innovative materials, clean, appropriate to the surrounding climatic and urban conditions which emphasize the presence of the building in place, our light carpet is a tribute to the harmonious and coherent architectural history of the building and its location in the center of the city, is a light to the place.
