Flynn Battaglia Architects designed and coordinated an innovative transformation of the existing Allied Health Building into a state-of-the-art health science education center to house the college’s life sciences, physical sciences and nursing programs. Accommodating expanded student population and amenities for the latest teaching practices, the renovated Allied Health was designed to bring life and education into the public spaces and includes teaching and simulation labs that replicate high-tech nursing work environments in hospitals and medical facilities. The project targeted LEED Silver Standards and achieved Gold.
