How do you integrate a library into a stairway, and what if a bunch of other cool things happen as a result? This project for an avid reader and their young family reimagines the main stair and shelving as an integrated, unified whole, which then spawns an entry bench with shoe storage, an office nook with file drawers below the landing, and a glass “bridge” to the primary suite that allows light into the entry below and endlessly entertains kids of all ages, all in about 86 square feet.
