This compact home was designed on a tight budget along a very steep sloping sight. To solve these two very difficult challenges we maximized the connection between indoor and outdoor space to make the house feel much larger. Also, we elevated the house on concrete foundation walls making the slope and drainage a non factor along with creating much longer and more dramatic views. The house is clad in fiber cement panels that are an inexpensive, low maintenance, and durable exterior material. The two tone color of the house is achieved by painting the fiber cement panels in a rich neutral brown and a vibrant sienna.
