Graphic Design: Yotam Bezalel-http://www.yotam-bezalel.com/
The Ice cream parlor of Leggenda chain in Rothschild Avenue in Tel Aviv, is one of dozens of the company branches, designed by our office. The concept, like in the other stores, is to create a unique sales ice cream vitrine, embedded into a complete unit with the sales display of the ice cream and the yogurt. The store is made up of a kitchen and a sales desk that are bond together in a structure made of wood, covered with Formica and milled with graphic icons, designed by the design studio of Yotam Bezalel. The finish standards of the different materials are high and accurate, therefore suitable with the store's location at the most important and expensive avenue in Tel – Aviv City.
We used oak wood for covering the service roof, and for covering the top storage area in the store. On the top of the kitchen area, vegetation was planted for a sense of freshness in the space. The floor and the wall in the back of the sales zone, were painted in a pink bubble gum color cement-like material that produces contrast, and highlights the white area. The front of the store that is facing the street was glazed with minimal steel profiles. The outdoor seating tables were cut in a cloud shape, to differ them from the rest of the avenue's restaurants tables, and were colored in pink, same as the floor and walls. The Lighting fixtures are minimal and do not compete with the sales structure that is the main part of the project.
