The concept of the building is simplicity and asceticism. This is clearly seen in 398-square-metre planning: the courtyards form the space of the house and combine with strict architectural forms.
One-piece finishing with dark clinker brick makes the building compositionally integral. This emphasizes the lightness, simplicity and modernity of the architectural solution.
The character features of the landscape are the strict geometric shapes with structurally planted plants. White pebbles, laconic paths and landscape spaces inside the building give a sense of integrity and harmony. The landscape smoothly transitions from the clear structural plants near the house to the chaotic plantings near the Dnipro river. It can be seen from the windows of the house. Large stretches of glass usher in daylight and provide a strong connection to the outdoor environment. A series of panes open up and slide away, blurring the boundaries between the sheltered interior and the surrounding landscape.
"Inspired by the «glass wall» method, founded by German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, we used this architectural solution in the design. So, the client can enjoy the unity with nature," told Roman Kurylenko.
