Located in the latest hotbed of urban development across the water from Singapore, sits a private residence nestled amongst lush greenery. This is S/LAB10’s latest endeavour: a tiered home situated in the leafy residential precint of Ledang Heights on an undulating site and the answer to a design brief for a British expatriate family of four.
For a family with a love of entertaining, the designers worked to develop a design scheme that embodied the family’s exuberant nature without compromising the much-needed aspect of privacy for a home. “We have explored a combination of forms and spatial sequences that would best suit the client’s needs along with the site’s natural terrain – and in doing so, the form of the house naturally emerged.”
