The exhibition Le Son des Ténèbres at the National Chalcography Institute for Graphics in Palazzo Poli (behind Fontana di Trevi) presented a corpus of artworks made by the artist Roberto Ciaccio in collaboration with the famous Milanese printer Giorgio Upiglio and conceived as a constant and logical dialog between music and philosophy (especially Martin Heidegger, Jacques Derrida, Remo Bodei). The exhibition design, the exhibition itinerary and the selection of artworks trie to recall the harmonious and meditative atmosphere which is emanated by the entire corpus of the artist, characterised by different luminous intensity of the metal plates. In order to display the work Leçons de Ténèbres / Le Son des Ténèbres. Revenants, specifically conceived for the exhibition, we designed in the second room a big table made out of the same kind of steel plates which the artist uses for his work.
