The Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) South at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX ) will be an 8-gate,100,000 sf complex connected to the MSC North, which is currently under construction on the airfield west of the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).
The two-story, pre-engineered structure will serve Group III aircraft, such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 family, and will be designed with the flexibility to support an additional three future gates.
MSC South will further reduce LAX’s reliance on remote gates and provide an enhanced guest experience through ready access to concessions, services, and lounge areas at the new MSC North and TBIT.
The concourse will include hold rooms, passenger boarding bridges, restrooms, concessions, circulation, airline operations space, airport support spaces, baggage makeup areas, art installations, and exhibit spaces.
