This installation sought to illustrate the malleability of paper as a medium. Abandoning the ubiquitous role of paper in two-dimensional visual arts, the installation capitalized on the structural capacity of folds to define entire volumes of space within the filamentous boundaries of the paper’s edge. A single roll of butcher paper was folded and suspended. Paper consumed the room, cumuliform cloudscapes that left small spaces in their wake. Visitors appeared and disappeared, leaving trails in paper tiles.
