Laura’s Bakery is a concept that combines a modern interpretation of a Danish bakery with a traditional French boulangerie.

Laura's Bakery was created with a raw and authentic aesthetic, executed with juxtaposing materials; solid oak, concrete, black steel, blackboard, and subway tiles. The raw materials were left bare and untreated to provide a clean and natural canvas for the products on display, placing a focus on their inherently enticing visual qualities.

Johannes Torpe Studios designed every element of the bakery concept, including the interior design, visual identity and packaging. All design elements contribute to the creation of a branded space and merge together to form a holistic eating experience.

Located in one of Copenhagen’s most popular food destinations, the high-end indoor market ‘Torvehallerne,’ Laura's is well-exposed to the public eye and is surrounded by many other high-quality stores which share the same desire to provide gourmet shopping experiences for the consumer.
