Architect, Rene Robert Mueller, got approached, with recommondations from previous projects of neighboring home owners, by the client to review a renovation concept of his recent bought Tudor style residence in Larchmont, New York.
After a successful design session the Architect was retained and got started to plan the major renovation with additions at main and upper floor.
The plan concept was to renovate the kitchen, add breakfast and family room at main floor and add a new master bedroom suite, library and increase the size of the 2 existing bedrooms at upper floor. By extending the exterior facade the architecture took the existing Tudor style in account which was implemented by proportioning the dormers and windows according to ther existing style.
The successful planning, time for ascertaining all permits and construction extend lasted 12 months.
In 2000 the owner was able to occupy his newly renovated residence.
