The project entails the creation of an inviting family restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine, situated in New York City. The client's request emphasized a welcoming ambiance suitable for guests of diverse backgrounds and attire, accommodating both casual brunches and those seeking a more refined dining experience.
The restaurant floor plan is strategically divided into distinct zones to accommodate various dining occasions. It features a dedicated take-out area, window-side seating for breakfast and lunch, and central dining spaces furnished with cozy sofas and banquettes for evening meals. An open kitchen allows everyone to observe the preparation of pizzas, while a dual-purpose bar serves desserts and beverages. The inclusion of a large mirror above it enhances the sense of space and openness.
Design highlights include exposed wooden beams accentuating the ceiling, textured walls adorned with leaf motifs, and abundant greenery, including olive trees, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. Personal touches, such as family-oriented seating arrangements serve as focal points. The flooring features modular parquet crafted from rustic wood, complemented by Calacatta stone accents, blending rustic and classical elements.
The completed interior design reflects the essence of Italian hospitality while embracing the eclectic spirit of New York City, offering a welcoming space for citizens seeking memorable culinary experiences.
