Lagoon Avenue Bekasi is the retail center of the Grand Kamala Lagoon development in Bekasi, East Jakarta. This project is the pioneering development for the 44Ha area master plan.
The retail center is broken into two distinct zones: one below the apartments and one free standing retail building.
Within these zones the project has multiple unique smaller areas for customers to have different experiences: from the flowing balconies of the lagoon area, to the Kamala (lotus) skylight of the extension.
The facade also reflects these different areas with multiple facade treatments. So as the users walks along the building there are new and exciting moments.
The main facade of the mall is the first of its kind in Indonesia. Using sophisticated engineering solutions MTA was able to create a facade that unique to this project.
