Labrys Frisae was a temporary installation created for Miami Art Basel. The enveloping shell that immerses visitors in a coral-like experience as they move through the structure. At night, the perception is changed due to the play from the shadows that emerge from intricate perforation completely covering the skin of the shell. Though created from 1mm aluminium, the double curvature of the design is remarkably structural, supporting live test loads of three people walking on its top.
