La Spada restaurant is located in the heart of Florence.
The project consists in the refurbishment of the existing part, completely modified, and the addition of a new part with a total area of 450 sqm. The pecularity of the interiors, spaces connected together as the result of expansion during the years, offered the possibility to create different areas. The “trait d’union” of the project is the design of the furniture, all custom-made, and the materials selected for them.
Furniture, in cort-en and oak wooden elements, are combined with Tuscan tiles (produced with special components to add a brownish tone), resin and industrial parquet floor. Different floorings are identified and connected by a stainless steel frame on the perimeter.
