This open campus design is inspired by geology and is envisioned as an amalgamation of the various creative disciplines. The design invites visitors to enjoy and explore the grounds and witness the creation of art: Six organically shaped buildings, seven floors high, feature inroads and alleyways running between them. It is designed to accommodate the institution’s 5 faculties of various disciplines: design, fine arts, integrated arts, media arts and performing arts. Six sculpted buildings, each 5-storey high, feature public inner courts and alleyways running between them.
Facets of glass materialize the buildings on the inside and a cladding made of stone and aluminium covers the outside. An integrated atrium and sky bridges link them. This central space is laid with synthetic grass and in the middle stands a 6m-tall bronze sculpture called Black Hole.
