Exploring the ways of geometry, this house was born to be inserted into the natural ground. It´s composed of two volumes that are joined by a bridge, Emergent triangle + Floated square. This house dialogues with its immediate context and manages to potentiate the panoramic view that points to the city horizon making a phenomenological interaction to the main entrance and parking arrival for a completely link with the outdoors.
There are three main spaces. THE FLOATING SQUARE; with two rooms, one pointed to the front of the street with only a thin layer of window frame letting the purity of the square be and the other one pointing to the city with a cross floor-ceiling height window frame representing the Catholicism of the family, this is why the square is separated of the triangle to give the right privacy to rest. MAIN EMERGENT TRIANGLE FLOOR; with a corian solid surface kitchen that interacts with the office designed wooden lamps on the living room and spread wood elements giving their interior surroundings an individual aspect to each program; a social gather space. BOTTOM EMERGENT TRIANGLE FLOOR; holds the main living room with its own tree terrace linked straight to the TV room that can opens directly to the outdoor pool giving a subliminal intention of becoming an only space.
This house plays with both facades from the Street to house you can see the two simple geometry forms directly but from the city to the house a more rational facade inhibits the user to realise what’s made of.
