This vacation house complex has been designed according to its plot’s inclined geological shape and to its panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. The new building’s architectural concept was formed by the intense landscape of the hillside and the numerous rocks on it. Two buildings have been designed that are going to be vacation houses. The main goal was to combine the local Cycladic architecture with the vivid outdoor activities of the owners during summer. Thus, all the secondary functions, like outdoor lounge areas, barbeque, dinning, pools and parking, were placed all around the main residences. Great emphasis has been given on the user’s unique experience of every space, both on a functional and an aesthetic level. Protected atriums, outdoor yards, covered dining areas and infinity pools are some of the elements that compose this versatile, yet interesting Cycladic complex.
