Flexible living
The Itri village (near to Latina, in Italy) have two important characteristics: the strong volumetric articulation of historical center and the meaning of the name “Itri”, as “iter”, as been on the way, as been on trip.
The idea of project is the fluidity of the space, a space that dilate and compress itself.
A flexible architectural typology :every apartment have mobile panels that can slide and rotate; every space can change is configuration and give different dynamic solutions for every condition of living.
A space that follows the people need.
The ecological materials respect the ecological need and they guarantee a low environmental impact.
Every apartment have a south exposition, a wood slide brise-soleil system that give a dynamic articulation of elevation and a good optimization of sun light.
In the north site there is a green court cover by green wall that give many environmental benefit: thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and pollution insulation.
In the south side there are a sheet of water that guarantee the rain water recycle and the air cooling in summer time.
Last but not least, a roof garden optimize the microclimate situation and give the possibility of vegetable garden for every apartment of the building, also as socializing point and relax space.
