Domokur Architects is providing comprehensive architectural services for this Rehabilitation/Renovation Project which includes roof replacements at each of the Tower buildings. The project is under construction and is scheduled to be phased over a four year period. Domokur Architects is currently providing Construction Administration services. The original complex was built in 1968 and consists of two ten-story residence halls, one twelve-story residence hall and a central connecting building (Rotunda). The Project includes a comprehensive exterior envelope assessment, replacement of aging HVAC infrastructure, interior room reconfigurations and replacement of all finishes. Domokur Architects initiated the Project with a hands-on assessment of the building envelope, including direct exploration of the building facade via a swing-stage. The design team has developed an exterior renovation package which includes cladding of portions of the building exterior.
