Attila for Krizia / Concept, Design, & Production for Design Exhibition / October 2014 / Milan
Krizia, a once-fabled Italian fashion house, was relaunched by a Chinese investor during the Milan Fashion Week in the fall of 2014. To announce this relaunch, we were chosen along with 4 other artist to interpret the identity of the brand though a series of design installations housed in the opulent Palazzo Litta in central Milan.
This installation sets out to meditate on its noble surrounding by complimenting the architecture with reflected forms. Mirrored stripes punctuate the space by creating offset reflections in the background decor, an illusion only casually diminished by the passing of an individual. Beyond revisiting this historical context, the sculpture our interpretation of the revival of the Krizia brand, creating something modern out of the historic.
